Every treatment is tailored to the individual needs of each client.

Acupuncture:

Reconnect and rebalance.

In a DISeased state, the body will present physical and/or mental symptoms. Acupuncture helps restore your body to a natural state of balance. After a diagnoses is made, an individual point prescription is created. Treatment involves the delicate insertion of super fine medical grade, single use needles. Gentle stimulation of the needles is administered to activate each point. When used in combination, the function of each point is intensified and has the power to create significant change within the body, mind and spirit.

Cosmetic Acupuncture:

The ultimate glow up.

Cosmetic Acupuncture looks to address the internal health imbalances that prevent your skin from looking its most radiant. It is a gentle non invasive treatment to address a wide range of skin concerns, including improving skin tone, reactivating sagging muscles, minimising fine lines and wrinkles, reducing scaring, or clearing acne.

Treatment works on two levels. First, body acupuncture addresses any internal imbalance. Secondly, specialised facial needling targets localised imperfections. This ancient anti-ageing medicine is redefining modern standards of beauty, while offering a 100% natural alternative to botox and other invasive treatments on the market. It is beauty on deeper level.

Facial Gua Sha:

Smooth and Glow.

Facial Gua Sha is a soothing facial treatment prescribed to help improve skin quality and tone. This ancient technique uses tools made with the healing magic of stone medicine (jade or rose quartz crystals) to massage the face, neck, décolletage and scalp. This aims to smooth out adhesions in the fascia and muscles, stimulate lymphatic flow and improve skin quality. Facial Gua Sha is one of my favourite techniques to use, as the results are instant.

Herbal Medicine:

Internal Medicine.

Chinese Herbal Medicine is your take-home daily ritual to restore health and support in-clinic treatments. The power of Chinese Herbal Medicine can be found in the synergy of its traditional formulas. Individual herbs are combined to enhance function, harmonise side effects, and increase potency. All herbal medicines prescribed are TGA approved and have undergone stringent testing before making their way to you.

Cupping:

Release and Relax.

Cupping therapy uses suction to move stagnation and help promote healing. When cups are applied to affected areas of the body, the underlying tissues are drawn upward, creating negative pressure. This action allows free-flow (circulation) to be restored, releasing muscle tension, easing pain, soothing lung congestion and even massaging damp causing cellulite.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage:

Detox and Calm.

The Lymphatic system is a dynamic circulatory network, required for fluid metabolism, detoxification and healthy immune response. For most, the stresses of modern life, toxic overload and inactivity constantly compete to disrupt this natural regulation, resulting in poor health and low energy. We combine our intuitive touch and deep expertise to provide a unique and deeply therapeutic experience, for what has been described as the ultimate detox.

Frequently Asked
Questions

If you have any further questions or queries that aren’t answered here, be sure to reach out - I’d be happy to answer them directly.

  • Acupuncture is a treatment based on the principles of East-Asian Medicine. This complete system of medicine aims to restore harmony and balance to the entire body, mind and spirit. So think of your acupuncturist like a holistic General Practitioner (GP).

  • If this has been stopping you from experiencing the joy of acupuncture, you are not alone. Rest assured that acupuncture needles are very fine, unlike the needles used to take blood. This makes insertion simple, with minimal discomfort.

  • No. Botulinum toxin or Botox is a drug that is injected into areas of the face and body to reduced wrinkles by paralysing the treated muscle groups.

Cosmetic acupuncture does not cause paralysis. In fact it’s quite the opposite. Cosmetic Acupuncture encourages circulation to assist the bodies natural healing response. This helps minimise the affects of ageing, and results in glowing skin from the inside out.

Both treatments give significantly different results. I like to be clear about this upfront, to help you make the most informed decision possible. This also means that I won’t shame you for having Botox - I treat many clients who do both, and some who have transitioned from Botox to all natural. You do you!

  • Cosmetic Acupuncture can be done at any time, even in your lunch break, as there is zero downtime.

There are a couple of things to keep in mind, however. Your make up will need to be removed for the treatment, but you can reapply directly after your treatment. There is a small chance of bruising; this is very rare but is possible. Bruising is usually very tiny and easily covered with make up.

You may feel so relaxed after your session that you are less productive afterwards.

  • Yes! Treatments will be modified for all pregnant clients, especially for Cosmetic Acupuncture (this will need to de discussed in detail before any treatment begins). Acupuncture is a great way to support the body throughout pregnancy.

  • Cupping is easily recognised by its signature purple marks, which are often mistaken for bruises. Firstly, cupping doesn’t always leave dark marks on the body. The severity of cupping marks are an indication of the level of stagnation or disharmony in a persons body. Secondly, a bruise is caused by a trauma to the affected area, damaging vessels, deoxygenating blood and causing pain. Cupping has the reverse action and although unsightly does not cause pain.

  • If you are unsure about which treatment to book for your first session, start with an Initial appointment. This will give us time to discuss your case history in detail, ensure you receive the best care, and make a plan for action moving forward.
